An applicant for the Master’s degree at the Technical University of Mombasa must have the following minimum qualifications; A relevant Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics with a bias in Pure Mathematics degree from the Technical University of Mombasa or any other institution recognized by the University Senate with: OR Second Class Honours Upper Division or Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 on a scale of 4.00. OR Second Class Honours Lower Division or Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.50 on a scale of 4.00 with additional relevant training, evidence of research capability either through research, paper presentations or peer-reviewed publications, and relevant working experience of 2 years since graduation.
