Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha has commended TUM for the progress it has made toward complying with prescribed measures in response to the Covid pandemic.
Prof Magoha, who visited TUM to inspect the facilities, also said he was happy that TUM has remained at the forefront of innovation whereby it created a sanitizer brand Aerosol that has been very effective and even adopted by the Kenya Ferry Services for commuter use at the Likoni crossing.
The CS made an extensive tour of the institution during which he inspected labs, lecture rooms, hostels, students dining hall, washrooms, and all schools.
"I must say your efforts as university are commendable", the CS said as he went round led by the Vice Chancellor Prof Laila Abubakar and her management team.
The CS was accompanied by the PS for University Education and Reseach He noted that social distancing protocols .
