Earlier this morning, the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Pwani User Group, a community focused on cloud computing and AWS technologies, hosted an event titled "Build Without Limits: The Next Generation Developer Experience." This event was organized in collaboration with the TUM Institute of Computing and Informatics (ICI) and the Partnerships, Research, and Innovation (PRI) Office. Ms Veliswa Boya, a senior developer advocate from South Africa at AWS, facilitated the session.
The discussion centered around cloud computing, AWS innovations, courses and services, and their real-world applications. Topics included generative AI, machine learning, foundation models, content creation, AI ethics, and the emerging risks and concerns associated with generative AI. The students also learned about the rapid advancements in AI technology, the significant potential impact of AI on economic growth, the promising career paths available in the ever-evolving tech landscape, and how to prepare for a generative AI future.
This event not only provided invaluable learning opportunities but also fostered networking with industry professionals, enhancing students' connections in the field. As a non-profit organization, AWS proudly offered this enriching session free of charge, demonstrating its commitment to supporting and educating the technology community.
