TUM UNVEILS FIRST COHORT OF MASTER OF SCIENCE IN TROPICAL BIODIVERSITY AND ECOSYSTEMS (TROPIMUNDO) PROGRAM

Today the 3rd of February, 2023 marks the launch of the TROPIMUNDO Master program, with nine (9) students received by Technical University of Mombasa (TUM)’s Deputy Vice Chancellor- Prof Peter Gichangi in the presence of prof. Joseph Rasowo – The Deputy Vice Chancellor (AFP), Dr. Saulo- Registrar (PRI), Dr. Madiha- TUM Director Career Services, Prof. Okemwa, and the local TROPIMUNDO Coordinator - Dr. Cosmas Munga.

The nine students are from Belgium, USA, Mexico, China, Hong Kong and Cameroon and are set to follow lectures and fieldwork for a period of five (5) months, as from February 2023 to June 2023.

TUM is now officially a focal point for TROPIMUNDO program for East and Central Africa.
