Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering
Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering
Overview
The Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering prepares engineers who can plan, design, build and look after the structures and infrastructure a growing coastal region depends on: roads and bridges, buildings, water and drainage systems, ports and harbours. The programme is practice-led. Students learn the engineering sciences and then apply them in design studios, laboratories, surveying fieldwork and an industrial attachment.
It is built for people who want a strongly applied route into the profession, including diploma and higher diploma holders in building and civil engineering who wish to progress to a degree.
