A very warm welcome to the Department of Management Science at the Technical University of Mombasa.

Our department is home to talented undergraduate, diploma and certificate students who eagerly soak up and apply knowledge and techniques in supply chain management, maritime management and business information systems. This Department is also home to energetic and innovative graduate students who are determined to acquire advanced knowledge, learn the latest developments, and explore the supply chain management and business information systems terrain.

Our dedicated faculty is committed to training, research, innovation and extension in operations research, management science, supply chain management, maritime management, economics and business information systems. 

This department is also home to the Blue Economy Innovation Hub (BEI Hub), a platform for multidisciplinary and participatory action research, anchored on the principles of Human Centered Design and Quadra-Helix Helix Approach, to co-create solutions to real societal challenges. Through the hub, we have developed research collaborations with faculty from other departments as well as those from Government, private sector and the civil society.
