Technical University of Mombasa was amongst the stakeholders which participated in this year’s Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) show, from 28th August to 2nd September, 2018.

However during the judgements period TUM was competing with other stake holders Educational Institutions such as University of Nairobi, Private Organizations including Kenya Ports Authority, Base Titanium, Micro Finances and Banks agencies, amongst other service provider’s stakeholders.

To crown it all TUM won two (2) awards. As position one (1) in the category of the best stand that best interpreted the ASK show theme – Education and/or Research Institution. Nonetheless Third (3) position in the category of the best stand in Water and Waste Water Services.

The Acting Vice Chancellor Academic Research and Extension Prof. Eng. Raphael N. Mutuku together with the Registrar Partnership, Research and Innovations Dr. Michael J. Saulo handed over the trophy and certificates to the Vice Chancellor Prof. Laila Abubakar for a good job well done. ‘The Vice Chancellor thanked the whole team which made TUM proud for winning the categories and ensuring that TUM remain the best University in Coast region’. She commended.
