Technical University of Mombasa innovation expertise will rock the global arena when high flying innovators Michael Ondoro and Timothy Ndaa represent Africa at an international event in Berlin, Germany in November. The inseparable innovation duo who have been winning coveted national award after award take their prowess beyond the continental borders after beating tens of other young peers drawn from universities across Africa.The 4th year Civil Engineering students emerged tops in a Nairobi event that aims at fighting water scarcity dubbed Falling Walls Lab to cruise to the weeklong Falling Walls Conference set for November 5-11.

In April won the Energy Management Award organized by Kenya Association of Manufacturers with their Poseidon Pump System innovation which, if adopted, can use energy from moving vehicles to supply water in towns. Acting Vice Chancellor Professor Laila Abubakar and TUM Council Chair Dr Kevit Desai attended the event held at Safari Park Hotel.
